When I first started teaching, I poured my heart into helping my students succeed—but I didn’t realize something crucial: I needed to advocate for their families too. 💔

Our students’ families are incredible—supportive, resilient, and full of love for their kids. But many don’t know how to navigate the school system or where to turn for resources. That’s where we come in. 🌟

It took me time (and a few mistakes) to learn that partnering with families isn’t just important—it’s essential. 💬 Whether it’s explaining how parent-teacher conferences work, sharing language resources, or simply letting them know they’re valued, these small steps can make all the difference. 💛
